This post would ideally suit a nurse who recognises opportunities for improvements and is a motivator to drive changes forward within the unit. Duties include: Eye Day Case Unit coordination duties, supporting junior staff, mentoring students and supporting the Band 7 Lead. The post holder works as a skilled practitioner and is responsible for the delivery of patient-focused programmes of care, acts as a role model, delivering care with empathy and compassion as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
