An exciting opportunity has arisen for a challenging, strategic and visible senior leadership role, within Strategy & Transformation team. This role will work to the Director of Strategic Development & Partnerships and closely with the wider leadership team of the Trust to ensure development and delivery of the recently launched 5 year clinical strategy as well as forthcoming related plans (e.g. research and education strategies). This will include representing the Trust externally with relevant NHS, third sector and commercial partners. The post holder will lead the management and delivery of Trust wide strategy development and key strategic projects as prioritised by the Executive Directors and overseen by the Director of Strategic Development & Partnerships and Associate Medical Director for Strategy The post holder will work across two or more strategic projects at a time including service developments, capital investments or operational planning aspects of commercial/third sector collaborations. There will be a particular focus on the intersection between the Trust 5 year clinical strategy, internal service plans, external stakeholder relationships and estate development plans on the Sutton and Chelsea site. This role will also support the Trust's engagement on service and operational developments with external partners including the emerging Integrated Care Systems as well as third sector or commercial collaborators. Provide leadership for trust wide projects as delegated by the Director of Strategic Development & Partnerships. This will require working, communicating and forming good working relationships with project stakeholders including Executive Directors, front line staff, external stakeholders and (where relevant) patients/carers. Ensure patient considerations are at the centre of all pathway development work that drives or is required by the strategic developments. Set up, lead and facilitate meetings of workstreams within projects including both internal and external stakeholders. Keeping them to task and supporting them in answering the specific problems/questions put to them by the wider project board. Manage competing timelines, developing plans that prioritise actions appropriately and be confident in providing advance notice/push back on senior staff if either reprioritisation, additional resource, or additional time is needed.
