Speciality Doctor - Gastroenterology 10PA's - Permanent contract **Previous applicants need not apply** Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks to appoint a Specialty Doctor in Gastroenterology to work within our Adult Medicine department. The post holder will be based at Tameside General Hospital. The post is based within the Gastroenterology Department and the main activity undertaken will include outpatient clinics, diagnostic tests and ward rounds and on calls for general internal medicine. To participate in various outpatient activities including the medical management of patients attending outpatient clinics and participation in Endoscopy sessions. Ensuring the effective organisation of the ward including diagnosis and treatment of all patients admitted. The appropriate discharge of patients, including providing timely paperwork to the General Practitioner ensuring a continuation of care following discharge. The direct clinical supervision and training of the Ward Junior Medical Staff as well as the organisation and delegation of clinical work. "}
