Working as a member of the Voice and Data team within the ICT department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development, installation, and on-going operational management and support of the Health Board's voice and data infrastructures. Ideally, the post holder should have a relevant degree/HND and/or extensive equivalent experience of one or more of the following: Data Networking Technologies (including LAN and WAN) Network Protocols (TCP/IP and Ethernet) Voice and Video Communication Technologies Network Security Technologies (including Firewall and Intrusion Prevention Systems) Wireless Networking Technologies Additionally the post holder should have excellent trouble shooting and interpersonal skills as they will be required to provide specialist technical 3rd line support to departmental colleagues and 3rd party providers. The post holder may be asked to work across all BCUHB sites and locations, therefore the ability to access transport (public and/or private) to travel off site is essential.
