The Doncaster Long COVID Service offers assessment and treatment of patients with ongoing symptoms following COVID-19 infection or suspected COVID 19. We offer a wide range of interventions to help treat the symptoms of long COVID and support the patient in the self-management of this condition. Interventions are delivered through one to one clinic appointments, group classes and home visits. We are interested to hear from applicants with excellent MDT and communication skills, experience of working with patient's with Long Term Conditions, experience of providing Vocational Rehabilitation, involvement in service development and a passion to improve the lives of people living with Long Covid. Working Hours and Pattern: 30 hours a week Monday to Friday. Flexible working can also be considered. To provide highly specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex therapy needs as an autonomous practitioner within the long COVID pathway. To manage a defined caseload using evidence based and patient centred principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and record all interventions. To deliver virtual and face to face groups which educate patients about Long Covid, encouraging patients to share their experiences and provide advice for self-management of their symptoms. To provide one to one clinic sessions where patients require a more intensive approach to care. To work as part of an MDT and continue to respond to emerging evidence to contribute to the shaping and delivery of the long COVID pathway. To assist with service development which may include contributing to developing pathways and patient resources or leading on other project work. To be a positive ambassador for the team and assist with the promotion and representation of the service at events and meetings where required. "}
