North Cumbria Podiatry provides a comprehensive service to patients throughout the region. As a team lead you will be responsible for supporting the podiatrists and podiatry assistants to deliver safe quality care. You will support the professional lead to implement service improvements and be an agent of change. You will work alongside a friendly, welcoming and supportive team, dedicated to learning and improving, where everyone's voice counts. This role requires cross site working and would therefore be suitable as a job share. The Podiatry Department delivers care to the population of North Cumbria. We maintain caseloads in foot ulceration, high risk preventative care, biomechanics, and nail surgery, while providing episodes of care for specific conditions. We are a highly motivated, supportive team with quality and safety at our core. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work alongside podiatrists, podiatry assistants and admin team. We collaborate with community nurses, orthotic, MDFT and many other services. As a Team Lead you will: Provide high quality care, working as a member of the team. Carry out day to day leadership responsibilities. Work autonomously to formulate and deliver individual evidence based treatment plans. Provide specialised advice and guidance to podiatry colleagues and wider health care community. Identify innovations in clinical practice to improve patient care, ensuring practice is evidence based. Act as a clinical role model and demonstrate clinical expertise and credibility in practice.
