The housekeeping team works closely with nursing staff to ensure a clean and safe environment for our patients as well as overseeing catering provisions. The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) and will involve shift work (7am - 3pm and 11am-7pm), weekends and bank holidays over a rolling rota, which will be paid at an enhanced rate. Directly manage porters and cleaners and ensure that all service standards are met and maintained Carry out a localised induction with all new staff members managed by post holder Conduct annual appraisals and monthly supervisions for managed staff Be responsible for authorising annual leave and recording and managing sickness levels Ensure that all staff mandatory and task specific training is completed in liaison withFacilities co-ordinator.
