The successful applicant should possess FRCA (or equivalent) and should be included on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview, if currently within a training programme within the UK. In accordance with the consultant appointment regulations, all other categories of doctors must be on the Specialist Register. If shortlisted, you will be required to give a 10-minute presentation on: How will you improve touchtime utilisation in paediatric theatres INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD VIA MS TEAMS: Wednesday 18 December 2024 The post-holder will participate in the undergraduate teaching program for the school of Medicine, University of Leeds, which is organised on specialty or clinical area basis. The appointee, with colleagues, will contribute to the teaching of postgraduates, including the teaching program for SpRs in Anaesthesia in the Yorkshire Deanery. Applicants should have established skills in paediatric anaesthesia and have undertaken advanced training in this area. Excellent communication and team working skills, a strong commitment to teaching and service development are essential. About us To develop and/or consolidate expertise in anaesthesia. To develop existing relationships between anaesthesia and Clinical Service/Support Units within the Trust. To maintain and expand the excellence of teaching and research already established within the Trust. to support service plans for the specialty, taking account of the changes in clinical Practice and new technologies available. to participate in and progress Clinical Governance.
