This opportunity is a great role for someone wanting to develop their current finance experience within an influential financial team. The role is a key position that supports delivering month end reporting, business planning and advising on focus areas for Cost Improvement Plan utilising benchmarking information. The role reports directly toAssistant Director of Financial Planning and deputises for them asrequired The role also has line management responsibility for three qualified posts and therefore would suit someone who values development and who wants to expand their line management skillset. The post holder acts as the Trust's expert on Patient Care income, Service Line Reporting, Patient level costing and the National cost collection interpreting national guidance and providing advice for Finance business partners and Trust operational management. Formulate and implement plans to ensure Service Line Reporting is successfully implemented across the whole Trust. Develop the Trust's and Divisions understanding of service line reporting, ensuring that it is effectively communicated throughout the organisation. Provide advice and training for managers, non financial staff and other finance staff on all aspects of Clinical Income and costing. This will involve seeking and interpreting published guidance as appropriate. Support the Assistant Director of Finance - Financial Planning in the construction of the annual and long term financial plans.
