The post holder will lead and deliver occupational therapy services alongside a dedicated team of OT staff, working on the hyper acute/acute/ rehabilitation stroke unit, and early supported discharge service. Early supported discharge operates as an outreach service from the stroke unit, enabling patients to continue therapy at home following discharge. The team is committed to delivering high standards of care working closely with the multidisciplinary team across the whole patient pathway. We are seeking applicants with significant experience at a senior level, and who demonstrate specialist skills in Stroke/Neurology and rehabilitation. The post holder should also have a keen interest in positive leadership, operational management and service innovation, and have a passion for providing acute discharge planning alongside rehabilitation for people with neurological conditions.
