We have been able to add a Paediatric element to the rotation as part of the Childrens Continuing Care Team. So if are you looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge across a broad range of respiratory specialities in adults and paediatrics including acute and community settings then this could be the post you have been looking for? If you are a physiotherapist with a broad range of rotational experience with a keen interest in respiratory Physiotherapy then we would love to hear from you. The successful candidate will rotate every 9 months across a variety of respiratory settings which include: Intensive care, HDU and maxillo-facial surgery. A&E and the Medical Assessment Unit. Respiratory Medicine, including our respiratory wards and HDU's. Community impACT+ (including respiratory outpatient clinics, home visits and pulmonary rehabilitation) Childrens Continuing Care Team - including work in work in the patients home and schools. You will carry a caseload of patients in each area with a variety of respiratory conditions delivering a high standard of physiotherapy assessment and treatment. You will support and supervise band 5 colleagues, therapy support workers and students. You will need to be able to drive and have access to a car to accommodate the community rotations. You will be required to take part in our emergency on call rota and 7 day weekend respiratory cover which will involve working at weekends with days off in the week.
