In this key role, you will provide strong leadership to the Primary Care POD Transformation workstream. The Assistant Director for Primary Care POD will have a direct reporting line to The Deputy Director for Primary Care Transformation. The Assistant Director will need to provide line of sight on programme and project delivery, working collaboratively across our portfolio, acting as a key member of the portfolio Senior Leadership Team. Key Responsibilities: PMO Maturity Development: Manage an effective PMO function, including finance reporting, data insight, knowledge management, RAID management, programme and resource planning, and benefits management. Data Strategy Development: Lead the development of the INP data strategy to improve regional and ICB oversight on project delivery and outcomes. Primary Care Commissioning Assurance: Lead the assurance function for both retained and delegated primary care commissioning activities, providing effective mitigation and action to address risks and concerns. Team Development and Relationship Management: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning, and build strong relationships with national and regional counterparts to ensure alignment with policy and strategy.
