The vacancies are for the following shifts working:- We have a number of flexible shifts available including : 5am til 8am - More information is available on request 7.30am til 1pm Monday to Friday 1pm til 8pm Monday to Friday These posts are designed to assist with providing a full range of cleaning duties, 7 days a week in a hospital/healthcare environment. The domestic department maintains very high standards. After completing full training, the successful candidates will be expected to carry out the full range of domestic duties. These include cleaning bathrooms, toilets, ward areas, emptying bins, replenishing soap dispensers, hand towels and sanitisers. To maintain a clean and hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors in line with National Standards of Cleanliness. Establish and maintain good working relationships and clear line of communication with Supervisors, Ward Teams, Departmental staff, Patients and Visitors. The domestic assistant will be a member of the healthcare team providing a comprehensive service to the patients care and well-being. About us Recruitment selection processes are based on competence (see Person specification) and values. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £23 (standard) or £43 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first three months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies. New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
