Provide leadership to and be responsible for team members in the day to day running of the service, promoting multidisciplinary working and ensuring organisational and divisional barriers do not prevent the development and functioning of integrated care pathways and high quality patient care. Undertake regular audit of adherence to associated local and national policies, guidance (e.g. NICE) and standards of care Contribute to the achievement of standards within the areas of responsibility, working effectively with other service managers and clinical staff to ensure agreed standards are maintained Prepare and deliver service reviews as agreed, reporting on the performance of services within area of responsibility. Support service to ensure effective leadership and management of resources, including budgetary responsibilities Investigate and respond to complaints and incidents/serious incidents within a specified timeframe, analysing and monitoring data collected and collated from each service area to ensure that action is taken to correct and prevent recurrence.
