The successful candidate will be working alongside colleagues both within the team, as well as in collaboration with our local organisations, to provide a high quality service to a variety of patients across Urgent, Emergency and Acute Medicine and support with a seamless transition from the acute setting. The team comprises of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistant Practitioners and Discharge Managers who are vital in the assessment and planning of therapy needs and discharge arrangements for patients admitted through our busy Emergency Department. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated therapist who is looking for a new challenge in helping to continually develop the service and who wants to develop their people management skills with support from the Clinical Lead Therapist and senior colleagues. Supporting the Clinical Lead in providing a high quality therapy service to a range of people to ensure a safe, efficient and effective discharge home with appropriate referrals into the community setting. Collaborative working with the multi disciplinary team to ensure efficient patient flow through prioritising the caseload and supporting therapy colleagues to organise their caseload appropriately.
