This role will line manage service and business managers, deputise for the General Manager and will work alongside nursing and medical leadership. This role is ideal for an existing Deputy General Manager looking to broaden their NHS experience, or a Business Manager aiming to make the next step in their career progression. The post holder will report to the General Manager and will provide appropriate support to the General Manager and the Clinical Director in the delivery of all operational functions in the directorate. The individual will have responsibility for defined services and allocated resources. A specific requirement of this post is to lead the business and service management team. Under the Directorate General Managers Leadership the Deputy General Manager will: Be accountable to the General Manager for the operational performance of the directorate's services Lead the directorate's business management team.
