The Gynae Cancer Associate Clinical Nurse Specialist will give support and advice to individuals diagnosed with Gynae cancer providing holistic care and ensuring a seamless cancer journey and an excellent patient experience. To work clinically, delivering and maintaining high standards of care and contributing to the multi-disciplinary team. To support and contribute to the development and promotion of the nursing service ensuring the delivery of high quality, cost effective care. Educate staff in understanding the care requirements of patients undergoing investigations and treatments and ensure that the physical and psychological needs of patients and their families are met. About us The post holder will ensure that the patient has a supported journey by acting as their key worker and ensuring patients move through the cancer pathway in a timely manner. The post holder will hold well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, and should also possess good facilitation and IT skills.
