Adjustments will be required to be made at chairside by the technician. Assess individual units of work (prior to construction) for possible technical/clinical complications and discuss ways and means of overcoming them with relevant members of staff. Assist the Chief Technician/Line Manager in the supervision and guidance of technicians and student technicians. Quality assures all appliances constructed. As part of an educational establishment the post holder on occasion will be expected to contribute to teaching dental undergraduates, postgraduates and technicians. To maintain the strictest confidence in relation to personnel related information and it must be recognised that all patient related information is confidential whether formally recorded or not. Construct working study casts and trim as required. Plan, design and construct a broad range of precision, complex and specialised fixed / removable / myofunctional orthodontic and basic prosthodontic appliances. "}
