Acts as a clinical role model in these areas and if required supervises rotational staff working in these areas Supports the Clinical Pharmacy Manager in the development and implementation of strategies to improve services to patients admitted to the Trust. Provides a high-profile role in the provision and development of pharmaceutical services including the support of; clinical, patient safety, and QIPP work streams. Supports the departments training program, including provision of educational sessions to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, and support for pharmacists undertaking the clinical diploma. Supports the Clinical Pharmacy Manager in the management and appraisal of other members of the pharmacy clinical team. Assists in financial reporting and drug budget management and optimisation of medicines. Participates in; dispensary (including acting as Responsible Pharmacist), weekend, bank holiday, late and on-call rota's. Be a registered non-medical prescriber (or willing undertake training for this) and to make prescribing decisions, including de-prescribing, and prescribe for patients under their care.
