The integrated Safeguarding team is made up of all the professionals working to safeguard adults and children, the Paediatric Liaison Nurse, Child Death Lead Nurse and Learning Disability Nurses. The post holder will support the team in progressing the safeguarding agenda, including promoting the Think Family principles when contributing to the improvement of safeguarding systems and processes, the development of policies, procedures and guidance, delivering training, supervision and expert advice to colleagues across the Trust. The post holder will have line management of the Paediatric Liaison Service and will develop close links with the Child Death Review Lead Nurse to support child death notifications and key-worker arrangements. The applicant must have experience working with children and families with safeguarding concerns, working in complex and challenging environments and working independently.
