The Practice Manager is a key member of the team and will be expected to help and support the team in achieving goals and targets, be able to motivate the team and to delegate where necessary. They must be able to be a trusted representative for the practice in the wider health care system in which the practice operates. We are looking for a PM to work a minimum of 30 hours, up to full time would be considered for the right candidate. Free parking is available. The main role of the post is to manage, coordinate and oversee all aspects of practice functionality, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency and financial performance and ensuring the practice achieves its long-term objectives in a safe and effective working environment. Through innovative ways of working, lead the team in promoting continuous improvement, collaborative working, service delivery, learning and development, and ensure the practice complies with CQC regulations. About us Management of the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring that staff achieve their primary responsibilities and CQC, QOF and locally commissioned services targets are met. HR processes, including recruitment, relevant checks, contractual issues, appraisals and staff performance ensuring employment law and legislation is adhered to. Workforce planning, ensuring a skill mix and staff have the appropriate level of training to enable them to carry out their individual roles and responsibilities effectively.
