We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic, highly motivated Band 5 Physiotherapists to join our well established Brighton and Hove/ East Sussex community rotation. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. In this role you will be involved in: Delivering high quality, individualised, evidenced-based care to all patients Learning, developing and adapting to change evidenced in continuing professional development (CPD) Operating in a team and contributing to team decisions Managing your own caseload Teaching patients, carers and peers Maintaining accurate records in line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy's standards During each six month rotation you will be supported by Band 7 and Band 6 colleagues with a comprehensive range of in-service training to meet your learning needs. Rotations include: Community Neuro Rehabilitation Falls and Osteoporosis Community Respiratory Amputee Rehabilitation Community Therapy hubs Inpatient rehabilitation units Urgent Community Response A driving license is required, as you will need to travel across sites and work in the community. About us a) To work as a therapist within a team or as part of a rotation in Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust.b) To manage a caseload of patients with a variety of conditions.c) To formulate and deliver an individual treatment programme based on asound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options usingclinical assessment and reasoning skills.d) To treat all patients with respect and courtesy, maintaining dignity andrespecting individual needs and differences, both physical and cultural.e) To complete the SCFT Preceptorship programme through regularsupervision and professional support (staff in their first year post qualification).f) To be involved in the support of Band 2, 3 and 4 staff as well as studenteducation.g) To take part in and contribute to in-service training and keep your ownPersonal Development plans up to date.
