The successful candidate must have the calibre to work at a fast pace, and support the Senior Nurse in leading a diverse team of nurses based within the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Locality. Support the senior nurse in the development and delivery of the CAMHS nursing team and providing strong visible leadership within CTM CAMH Service. Support the senior nurse in taking forward the governance agenda, in relation to the Quality Safety and Risk subgroups, along with other Health Board forums, e.g. Safeguarding, Professional Operational group and partner agency groups where necessary. Support the Senior Nurse, in delivering HB strategy for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting. Operationally line manage a skill mix team of CAMHS staff, providing support and supervision as required. With the Senior Nurse, take forward CAMH service initiatives and programmes of work ensuring effective governance underpins the same. Progress the research and development agenda within the profession. Work autonomously within Health Board policies and procedures. Work closely with Senior Nurses, Head of Nursing and Deputy Head of Nursing; delivering on specific priorities. Work is managed but indirectly.
