Through service redesign we have ensured all staff have the benefit of Advanced Practitioners, Consultants, and a Lead Occupational Therapist to support excellent standards of practice across both the Reablement Service and the wider directorate. This is encompassed by the four pillars of professional practice, facilitation of learning, leadership and education, research and development. (RCOT 2021). As an Occupational Therapist you'll provide person-centred functional analysis and interventions, through the enactment of social care legislation and local government requirements. This is informed by occupational therapy clinical knowledge, skills and values. There is a particular responsibility to work as an independent practitioner and provide support and expertise to staff.
