For those Band 6 Pharmacist colleagues who are looking to progress to a Band 7 role but require a little more support or do not have Hospital backgrounds, at KCHFT we would like to support you with this aspiration by offering the right applicant a Band 6 to 7 progressive post. We are committed to developing our staff and offer support to complete the post graduate clinical diploma and independent prescribing courses. We are looking for resilient Pharmacists who are willing to work across our community hospitals in Kent and thrive on the variety of work a community Trust brings. If you think you have the necessary skills and qualities, are adaptable, work well both in a team as well as lone working where necessary then we would love to hear from you. We can offer full time or part time hours; these can be negotiated. As part of the Pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective medicines optimisation services to a number of community hospital sites in person and remotely. You will develop an expertise in the optimisation of medicines in frailty, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that we achieve the best medicines related outcomes for the patients we serve.
