They will be responsible for the timely processing of patient specimens using the on site Point of Care Testing equipment. The post holder will be able to work without direct supervision and will be able to work within Trust policy and protocols to ensure safe quality standards are maintained. The post holder will be able to communicate with the wards and departments contributing to an effective team approach. Unfortunately, this role does not meet the criteria required to qualify for sponsorship. The post holder will receive, prepare and perform routine tests on samples using the Point Of Care Testing (POCT) equipment on the Rochdale Infirmary site.
