CHoICE Facilities Services provide a wide range of services including Domestic Services based over South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust sites To join a friendly, organised, and positive working environment, applyfor this role Shift pattern of two 10 hour shifts per week including weekends Day to day management of Soft FM staff to provide efficient and effective Facilities services to all wards and departments within CHoICE operated sites and support the delivery of excellent patient care, ensuring the service is responsive to the demands placed upon it. To Supervise and prioritise work and direct staff accordingly to ensure optimum use of resources across all CHoICE sites. Working closely with Facilities Management team, clinical site managers, on call teams out of hours, week-ends and normal office hours to prioritise operational requirements To undertake a rotary shift pattern covering 7 days per week during the hours of 0600 to 2200 hours To assist the Heads of Department and deputies in managing the duties and performance of the staff within Soft FM To contribute to the on-going development and delivery of all Soft FM services Supervise all aspects required for the delivery of a high quality Soft FM, ensuring that all service staff are correctly trained to fulfil their role, and that the service is in line with customer needs Key requirements: Educated to GCSE level or equivalent qualification (include Maths and English) NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification or substantial experience in a support service role with the equivalent level of knowledge Sound knowledge of catering / domestic / porter functions within a healthcare environment Experience of working in a support services function Current driving licence About us The post holder will have day-to-day responsibility for the supervision of the Domestic & Linen Teams and services provided. They will be responsible for the efficient and effective services and delivery of high quality cleaning and hygiene related duties.
