Salary: £35,388 - £44,117 per annum (Band 6) Location: Compton, Wolverhampton and working across the community We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Paramedic Practitioner to join our community services team at Compton Care What you will do As part of the community services team, you will provide clinical, hands-on care to our patients. It is a service which aims to complement and enhance the care available in the community to those with both a rapidly deteriorating life advancing, chronic, incurable illness or those with complex symptom management that is affecting their living well. You will be there to offer specialist knowledge, expertise and support to the patient and carer, enabling the patient to stay in their home if that is their wish by helping to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. What we want you to bring You will need to be a registered general nurse or paramedic with post registration experience. You will hold a health care degree and/or have taken a health assessment course or be looking to achieve one. Communications skills are important in this role, so you will also have advanced communication training or be willing to undertake this training. You will have a real passion and commitment to providing high quality palliative and end of life care and be someone who is always looking reflect on how we can improve patient care and share learning with colleagues. You will be working out in the community so you will need to be able to travel using your own vehicle and hold a UK driving licence and relevant insurance to allow you to do this.
