We are looking for a highly motivated individual, ideally with experience of working in primary care. The post is Full or Part Time. Working hours are negotiable and will ideally be 20 to 37.5 hours per week. Informal visits are welcome and can be organised by contacting the Practice Manager. You will be based within Byron Medical Practice and will hold daily clinics seeing patients predominantly face to face but occasionally conducting telephone consultations. You will be required to provide some home visits to patients where appropriate. The post holder will demonstrate courageous and critical thinking, they will be a caring, compassionate and committed experienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, competent clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients of all ages within general practice. The post holder will commit to demonstrating critical thinking in the safe clinical decision-making process. They will communicate and work collaboratively with the general practice teams to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
