London North West University Healthcare has one of the largest ID units in the UK, based at Ealing and Northwick Park Hospitals. Due to the size and diversity of the local population and proximity to Heathrow, the trust is the busiest TB unit in the UK, a regional referral centre for MDR TB and imported infections, the North Outer West London site for HIV inpatient care and a treatment centre for viral hepatitis and has a highly successful ambulatory ID service including OPAT. This post would join a consultant team with diverse interests and expertise sharing in both inpatient and outpatient care including a choice of speciality clinics (including Tuberculosis, ambulatory ID, HIV, OPAT, viral hepatitis). The post holder will be based at Ealing and will contribute to our highly rated undergraduate and postgraduate training as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer for Imperial College and will have the opportunity to contribute to our clinical research programme.This appointment will also add to the current team of acute medicine and specialty physicians supporting Acute Medicine at Ealing Hospital.
