This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated finance professional with knowledge and experience of a broad range of financial functions. This is an organisation-wide financial reporting and analysis role which supports corporate financial reporting for the Health Board. The main duties and responsibilities of the postholder will include: Leads on Health Board wide financial analysis and reporting across all Divisions. Leads on ad-hoc strategic reporting projects for the Finance Department as specified by the Head of Financial Reporting, developing financial and business solutions to meet the needs of both our internal and external stakeholders. Provision of detailed financial information, forecasts and analysis for the Executive Director of Finance and senior finance managers, completed to expected standards and working to tight deadlines and communicating at all levels across the Health Board to ensure accuracy and reliability. The post has lead responsibility for consolidating Health Board wide forecasting reporting and supports the production of the Monthly Monitoring Returns to Welsh Government through specialist data extraction, data consolidation, analysis and reporting across all financial and business systems. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. About us Applicants should have excellent analytical, technical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines. Be CCAB qualified/part qualified and actively studying or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience. Applicant should have significant and in-depth experience of accounting and financial management reporting in a large complex organisation, with experience of staff line management. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but not essential. The post is offered on a full time substantive basis with location base to be agreed on appointment, along with some flexibility to work from home during the week.
