To maintain accurate patient records and enter onto the computer using agreed Read/Snowmed Codes. 9. Ensure accurate completion of all necessary documentation associated with patient health care. 10. To collect data and participate in regular Practice audit and research projects . 11. To contribute to the preparation of any Practice development plans. General: 12. To maintain own annual registration with the NMC and adhere to Code of Professional Conduct. 13. To maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for all staff, patients, carers and co-workers. Ensure all statutory regulations (e.g. Health & Safety, COSHH, etc) are implemented and adhered to. 14. To promote a professional approach at all times by attire and attitude to patients and staff both in and out of the Practice. 15. This is a great opportunity for a Practice Nurse to join our GP Practice in Cobham and be part of a successful and friendly team. We are flexible in terms of the number of hours and are looking for someone to cover between 20 to 37.5 hours per week. All applicants must be fully qualified Nurses and registered with the NMC. Experience as a Practice Nurse is desirable but not essential. Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to undertake the following duties (training will be provided if there are any learning gaps) INR monitoring, cervical screening, spirometry, chronic disease monitoring (including diabetes, COPD & asthma), vaccinations, phlebotomy, NHS Health checks, complex dressings, ear syringing, ECGs and removal of sutures.
