We currently have 2 MRI scanners at the West Suffolk site and delighted to announce the opening of our Newmarket CDC where we are installing an additional MRI scanner. This is due to open in Autumn 2024. We will provide MRI scanning services to the local community between the hours of 8am-8pm. We are looking for additional staff to support this service at the Newmarket CDC, as well as to support staff at the West Suffolk Hospital. We would be happy to consider part time and full-time applicants. We are looking for individuals who are keen to learn and enjoy working with people. Need excellent communication skills, to demonstrate initiative as well as care and empathy towards our often-anxious patients. Your role will be key to efficient service delivery and patient experience. Wellbeing is a priority for our staff and staff are highly valued across the team. Imaging assistants will have varied role within the team from delivering personal care needs to clerical and administrative duties. Imaging assistants will be responsible for providing a range of personal care needs to patients and for carrying out a range of clinical duties under the direction and supervision of a registered healthcare professional. Such tasks may include: Assisting radiographers working in the clinical area Welcoming patients and preparing them for their scans.
