Imaging assistants will be responsible for providing a range of personal care needs to patients and for carrying out a range of clinical duties under the direction and supervision of a registered healthcare professional. Such tasks may include: Assisting radiographers working in the clinical area Welcoming patients and preparing them for their scans. This will include performing the initial MRI safety checks with the patients. Preparing the scanner, organisation, cleaning and preparation of equipment. Supporting patients before during and after their scans making a positive difference to their experience in the MRI department. Stock control.
