Were looking forward to hearing from you! The Bone Marrow Transplant unit is an innovative area to work within Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. Completing over 50 transplants a year with patients travelling from all over Europe to attend the unit. We pride ourselves on the care delivered to all our patients and have achieved silver standard for two consecutive years. The successful candidate will work as part of the multi-professional team in maintaining a clean, organised, safe, comfortable environment for patients and their families. The main elements of the role include catering responsibilities, assisting with drinking/feeding if required, cleaning, ordering of stores, stocking up, minor equipment maintenance and other jobs as requested by the nurse in charge, whilst maintaining privacy and dignity for families at all times. The role is to enhance the patient/family experience whilst supporting the nursing team. "}
