Scotter Ward, consists of both inpatient rehabilitation and palliative care beds, allowing patients who are over their acute phase of illness to be transferred closer to home to continue their care. We are proud to work in close partnership with community therapy and specialist services and have links with Macmillan, St Barnabas and other specialist services and community nursing teams. The successful applicant will have a flexible approach to work which reflects the needs of the busy clinical area. The working hours include day shifts, night shifts, weekends and bank holidays. The successful candidate will assist registered nursing staff in providing high quality individualised nursing care to a clearly defined group of patients as identified in their specific care plans. This includes assisting to meet hygiene needs, monitoring symptoms, basic wound care, and have the opportunity to develop clinical skills working closely with the registered nurses.
