As a specialist service, it takes on complex cases in secondary mental health services. The Perinatal Community Team has close links with the East London Mother and Baby Unit. The post holder should have a special interest in supporting women in the perinatal period and experience of working as a qualified psychologist in either perinatal mental health services or other secondary care psychological services. You should have a keen interest in promoting equality and diversity within psychology and an awareness of the borough we work in and the challenges of existing health inequalities. This a leadership post, the post holder should have an interest in developing their skills in supervision, management and service development.
