Services include the Emergency Department (A&E), the Urgent Treatment Centre by referral only, Emergency medicine and surgery, planned surgery, intensive care, comprehensive maternity, Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) and paediatric services with 986 births last year. What you can add: Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight Assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse Ensuring that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and well being Assisting patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above. What youll need: A minimum of 6 months experience as a Mental Health Care Assistant (Qualifications required to accompany individuals with 6-12 months experience) or Studying as a Student Nurse with at least 12 weeks clinical placements, studying towards a Mental Health Nursing degree *Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
