The role is for 37 hours per week. You will be working alongside our band 6 Speech and Language Therapist and other professionals within the team. The role is based within the Reading locality based at Cremyll Road. However, there is opportunity and expectation to support the wider team as required which involves travelling to other sites and areas across Berkshire. We are an established and supportive team of band 6 and 7 Speech and Language Therapists. We would consider an existing band 5 looking to develop their skills. You will be supported to develop your clinical skills within the well-established multi-disciplinary team. We have good links with the wider Speech and Language services in Berkshire. The role will provide specialist speech and language therapy to adults with communication difficulties and dysphagia as part of the Community Neurorehabilitation and Earlier Supported Discharge team for Stroke. The post will be offered to individuals who are motivated, innovative and have experience in neurological rehabilitation and are dysphagia trained, to join a dynamic, client centred service that provide excellence in the rehabilitation and management of patients.
