This includes effectively managing a caseload of patients and ensuring that patients and their families are fully informed and supported by providing clinical and social support. Carry out nurse-led acne clinics and Systemic drug monitoring clinics including Biologics Clinics (St Georges' site). Systemic monitoring clinics have clinical supervision provided by Consultant or Registrar. Carry out virtual results clinics. Carry out skin education clinics for patients with chronic skin disease eczema, psoriasis, this will include adults and paediatrics. Conduct photodynamic therapy clinics for patients with non-melanoma skin cancer. The nurse may be asked to be involved in our newly launched Teledermatology service if the service needs require it. Support patients diagnosed with skin cancer as keyworker and attend skin cancer MDT. Ensure standards for skin cancer keyworker are adhered to. Carry out nursing keyworker skin cancer audits to meet national and local standards. Collect skin cancer data in line with trust and national skin cancer standards. Participate in Skin Cancer Well Being Events. Support the two Skin Cancer CNS's ensuring the Dermatology unit is compliant with Skin Cancer annual peer review.
