Versatile Work Settings : Provide care across acute settings, community clinics, residential and nursing homes, day centres, and patients' homes. Patient Treatment Management : Actively manage treatment programmes in line with care planning and discharge guidelines. Collaborative Decision-Making : Use the decision-making processes to identify when patients need referrals to other professionals or specialist areas, following agreed pathways. Nail Surgery : Perform nail surgery (undertaking procedures under supervision if not already proficient). Specialist Rotations : Participate in rotations in areas such as nail surgery, diabetes, patho-mechanics, and vascular care. Orthoses Provision : Arrange for orthoses, pressure-relieving insoles, and shoe inserts as needed. Workload Planning : Plan and manage your daily workload for wards, clinics, home visits, and visits to residential and nursing homes. Flexibility : Provide cover for other podiatrists at short notice or during absences, covering sites across North Manchester. Administrative Duties : Complete all necessary administrative tasks associated with the role. Additional Duties : Perform any other duties as required by the department.
