The available contracts are 1 x 22.5 hour post (Catering assistant/ restaurant) worked over 3 days per week. 1 x 20 hour post (Kitchen Pot wash) worked over 4 days a week. Working hours are on a three week rota basis - Monday to Sunday between 06:00am -20:00pm to include Bank Holidays as and when required for which additional payment will be made. They will join a large team of individuals within the department in providing an effective and efficient cleaning and catering service. The successful candidates will play an integral role within the team in ensuring that the food is prepared, delivered and the department is cleaned to the highest standard. Duties will be varied covering both restaurant and pot wash duties. The postholder's will be supported and trained on how to provide a high level of customer service and to restock areas whilst maintaining a clean and hygienic area. There will be a requirement to handle card and cash payments. Duties will include: - Deep cleaning within the Kitchen area and cleaning of equipment used during the course of the day. - Accepting deliveries into the kitchen and recording temperatures and putting away in allocated holding areas. Collection of food waste bins from Ward areas. The successful individuals will receive uniform and full training.
