Dependent on experience the successful candidate may initially start as a Band 5 trainee CT rotational radiographer, moving to band 6 on successful completion of the comprehensive in house CT training alongside essential leadership skills. At RCHT we are continually striving to improve the service we offer. The CT department currently consists of five CT scanners . The department currently takes student radiographers from Exeter and Plymouth Universities, and is a training site for Radiologists. We also have Assistant Practitioners, Advanced Practitioners (including Reporting Radiographers), and Consultant Radiographers in post and are committed to developing the knowledge and skills of our workforce. You will be a valuable member of the team in the provision of a quality led and timely CSI service. We actively support and encourage Radiographers in their career development and are committed to providing increased opportunities to widen specialist skills, extend roles and deliver advanced practice. There is an active CPD and audit calendar within the department with involvement from all staff groups.
