The post holder will be responsible for: Clinical practice Management responsibilities Education Professional responsibilities Hold DFSRH or willing to train towards Competent in fitting and removing SDI's or willing to train towards To be competent in pre and post HIV discussion. Recognising signs and symptoms of STI's To manage a range of symptomatic and asymptomatic female and male cases including discharge, genital ulceration and genital warts. Asymptomatic and symptomatic screening of male and female patients. All current forms of HPV treatment Microscopy and making provisional STI diagnoses. Venepuncture Point of care testing for blood borne viruses Treating named infections and administering contraception using Patient Group Directions (PGD's) or working towards completing Non-Medical Prescribing About us Please see attached Job Description for a comprehensive list of role specific duties and responsibilities Both verbal and written communication skills, and experience of team working will be essential to the role. Strong interpersonal skills will also be essential. You must be an NMC registered, UK based nurse to apply for this role, as it is 'zero-hours' it does not attract visa sponsorship.
