As a valued member of the Lived and Experience Peer team you will have the opportunity to use your lived experience in all appropriate situations. Including to build rapports with Peers/Lived Experience practitioners and their supervisors, c o-chair parts of the group Peer supervision, co-ordinate peer networking events and peer training. The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. To attend meetings and contribute as required to the development of the Service User Experience and Engagement Team (SUEET). To work with the Involvement team to support the training and pathway development for Experts by Experience (Service Users/Carer Representatives into the Lived Experience Workforce. To support co-ordination of events and training. To Produce and deliver effective presentations/training as required. To use your lived experience in all appropriate situations, including to build rapport with clients and address the stigma of mental health challenges with colleagues. To attend and participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to the multi-professional team using knowledge gained from lived experience of mental health issues to embed the principles of Recovery within the service. To support the delivery of the Trust Values so that high standards of service, communications, and practice are consistently experienced by service users, carers, and visitors.
