To support Registered Practitioners across the broad range of duties in the pre, peri and post-operative phases in Theatres. To circulate for a Trust defined scope of operative procedures (disciplines offered by the Trust). Once assessed as clinically competent perform sole circulating duties in Emergency Theatres out of hours (lates, nights, weekends, and bank holidays). To maintain own personal development with support from the departmental manager. In order to undertake day-to-day routine duties, the post holder is required to use various items of equipment and have the knowledge and skills to store and maintain simple and highly complex / expensive pieces of equipment. In addition, the post holder will have the ability to set up / test and use the equipment in line with local policies where appropriate.
