The suitable applicant should have the ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise your individual workload, as well as being able to work effectively within a team and support development of junior staff. The posts offer a full time contract and a commitment to On-Call is required after successfully completing any identified training needs. As a Cardiac physiologist you will be required to perform without supervision a wide range of invasive and non-invasive diagnostic cardiac investigations. You must demonstrate a good underpinning knowledge in cardiac investigations and should be competent within non-invasive cardiac testing, Cath lab, pacemaker implants and follow. Appropriate training will be given to ensure you are working to a safe competent standard. You will be given the appropriate exposure and knowledge ensuring you develop and gain experience in the complete range of diagnostic complex cardiac investigations provided by Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital.
