The post is part time and will require you to work with the Head of Physiotherapy to develop the service. The post holder will work clinically with patients with complex needs and provide clinical support the team providing a range of exercise opportunities for patients across the Trust. The Clinical Exercise Lead will be providing expert knowledge on clinical exercise for the Trust. They will work closely with the Head of Physiotherapy and be responsible for developing and maintaining standards, quality, and effective clinical oversight for the clinical exercise staff in the Therapies Directorate. They will provide line management to the three exercise instructors, two at the Bethlem and one at the Maudsley sites. They will provide professional support to the clinical exercise instructors based in the operational directorates. The post holder will provide clinical sessions with patients through individual or group work They will also work with the patients with complex physical needs as well as provide additional clinical support to the instructors when required. The post holder will be an advocate for physical health within the Trust, promoting the positive impact of physical activity on service users' mental health recovery and overall well-being. About us Responsible for producing and maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely clinical records as in accordance with Trust Policy. Represent the clinical exercise service at the Trust wide Physical Health Care committee. Responsible for maintaining awareness on developments in mental health care and exercise and make this information available to staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure services develop in line with current best practice. Responsible for developing quality standards for the clinical exercise service and to monitor develop and monitor best practice guidance ensuring standards are met. Responsible for working with the Trust head of physiotherapy and wider clinical exercise team to capture data and contribute to evaluation of the clinical exercise services across the Trust. To lead on specific Service Development and/or Quality Improvement Projects as agreed with supervisor. Responsible for undertaking training and development as require in line with the responsibilities of the post and Trust policy. "}
