The RADS team are responsible for delivering comprehensive assessments for patients in our Emergency Department, Acute Frailty Unit and Admissions Units. You will be working alongside a large Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to prevent unnecessary admissions and enable timely discharges of patients. Furthermore, we are passionate about promoting independence and preventing deconditioning in hospital. You will assess and treat patients referred to the service, with an aim to facilitate discharge from the acute setting as efficiently and effectively as possible. You will ensure excellent communication with patients, their relatives and carers. You will have support to develop both your clinical and leadership skills from our Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist and Clinical Team Leader. About us We have a supportive team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. You will receive regular supervision and appraisal to promote personal development. You will be actively encouraged to be involved in service development, audit and research. There will be the opportunity to support and supervise other staff, as well as provide practice placements for Occupational Therapy students. There is a structured in-service training programme in place within the team which you will be encouraged to be involved with. We provide a seven day service and have a roster system to cover weekend working and bank holidays. "}
