Maintain Practice morbidity register. Ensure that all new patients are registered onto the computer system promptly and accurately. Monitoring patient call and recall systems. Extraction of necessary data from clinical correspondence and input into Electronic Patient Record. To ensure the efficient running of the Practice computer system, carrying out searches, audits and recalls as required by the doctors, nurses and manager. Report faults to software supplier and track progress. Daily administration of system backups and electronic links to the Pathology Laboratory and local Health bodies. Set up and run clinical searches. Note summarising and sorting patient records and letters in preparation for summarising. Reviewing medical records and producing an accurate summary of the patient's medical history. To become a member of our Receptionist and Administrative Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who is able to work both independently and as part of our General Practice Team. The person is required to have a caring and empathic nature as part of the role is to act as a Care Navigator assisting patients when booking appointments and with their queries. Duties of the role Include but are not limited to : Greeting patients, answering questions, looking into queries,Care Navigation, using the clinical system (EMIS) and other software programmes to make appointments, booking interpreters and dealing with test results, referrals, medication requests and letters from secondary care and community services. Responding to tasks from clinical and non-clinical staff,liaising with external community services and emergency services and general administration.
