An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12-month secondment for a senior programme manager to support Dental Public Health within the Public Health Directorate at NHS Midlands. The role will include a mixed programme manager portfolio, including leading the dental epidemiology programme and the planning, co-ordination and delivery of complex strategies, activities and projects aimed at improving oral health and reducing inequalities Within this role you will: Deliver significant programme or projects for NHSE targeted at improvements in health outcomes for the public. Manage the whole lifecycle of a programme of system change, ensuring excellent governance throughout. Manage the set up and delivery of multiple projects within a programme of work, working with colleagues and subject matter experts to scope, plan, design and deliver those projects. Review project reports and risk logs for projects, advising individual project managers on escalation process and supporting delivery of projects where there may be significant barriers to delivery. Manage the whole lifecycle of a programme of work containing multiple projects, reporting on progress and managing risks and issues, escalating where necessary to the programme/ board. Interrogate and analyse, sometimes highly complex, information and data to support the delivery of clear project reporting and project outcomes. Take the local lead in the implementation of agreed dental epidemiology surveys and other programmes, with reviews of the procedures and progress including provision of advice and assistance, as needed. Support the Lead Dental Public Health consultant in delivering their corporate responsibilities e.g. quarterly reporting. Work with a range of stakeholders across the East Midlands including NHS England, ICBs, local authorities and clinical leaders and dental teams. "}
